Pocket Full of Keys

$20.00

Pocket Full of Keys offered Bradley the opportunity to produce and arrange all 12 tracks on the CD, the first time she has done this in her entire career. The singer says as she progressed with the project, it took on a theme that reflects her days of growing up in rural Eastern Kentucky -- days of no running water, a scarcity of electricity and no musical instruments in the Primitive Baptist church where her father preached. Nevertheless, Bradley grew up singing in the church and learning everything she could about her new found love of music. Once she had a guitar, acquired at the age of 14, nothing could hold her back.Bradley is receiving high praise for the album from peers and radio. Vince Gill says of the songstress, This woman is a singers singer and its inspiring every time she opens her mouth. Peer Alison Krauss calls Dale Ann one of the most gifted vocalists bluegrass and country music has ever heard. She is a dream.Kyle Cantrell with Sirius XM says, Dale Ann has established quite a history of re-cutting pop songs (the current single, the Gin Blossoms Til I Heart It From You), and does that very well and tastefully. Her treatment of Sweet Hour of Prayer is wonderful, too. We're adding these songs to Bluegrass Junction this weekend. An award-winning singer, Bradley has been named the International Bluegrass Music Associations (IBMA) Female Vocalist of the Year five times, and the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music (SPGMA) has awarded her its Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year twice.
